Terms of Use

Simple terms for using GifDrop.

Last updated: May 18, 2026. These generic terms are placeholders and should be reviewed before a wider paid launch.

Using GifDrop

You may use GifDrop to convert supported videos and image sequences into GIF or WebP files on macOS. You are responsible for the files you import and the GIFs you export.

Free version

The free version may include limits, such as a maximum frame count per export. Paid features, if offered, may require a valid license key.

Ownership

You keep ownership of your own content. GifDrop does not claim ownership of your videos, image sequences, or exported files.

Acceptable use

Do not use GifDrop in a way that breaks applicable laws, infringes someone else's rights, or attempts to interfere with the app, licensing, or distribution systems.

No warranty

GifDrop is provided on an "as is" basis. We aim to keep it useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every export will be error-free or suitable for every workflow.
