Local file processing

GifDrop is designed to convert videos and image sequences locally on your Mac. The app does not upload your source files or finished exports to our servers.

Website data

The GifDrop website may be hosted by third-party infrastructure providers. Basic technical logs, such as browser type, request time, and approximate region, may be processed to keep the website secure and reliable.

Support emails

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, and troubleshooting details.

Payments and license keys

Pro purchases are processed by Stripe, and license keys are issued and verified by our own licensing service (the app sends only the license key to check it). Your payment card details go directly to Stripe — we never receive or store them, and you never send them to GifDrop support.
